Quality Strategies Initiative
A collaborative project with the United Hospital Fund
The United Hospital Fund, in partnership with CMAP, is
conducting a Quality Strategies Initiative (QSI) in New
York that brings together the different major constituencies,
including medical professionals, involved in advancing quality
in health.
The project is examining current quality efforts--and their underlying strategies
for change--in order to craft a more integrated strategy
blending the strengths and minimizing the limitations of
the individual constituency groups. The Fund will conduct
targeted policy analyses, disseminate key information, and
identify priorities for future grant funding geared towards
accelerating improvements in quality and safety throughout
the health care system. Rachel Block is serving as Project
Director.
